E-Light Marble is a division of Spanish Marble Group specialized in the production of natural stone with thicknesses of 6 mm.
E-Light Marble® is a product made exclusively in Spain, with unique characteristics in the world. The continuous collaboration with architectural studios and the involvement in increasingly rigorous and important projects make it necessary to create a new large-format division with a thickness of 6 mm. These natural stone sheets of 3200 x 2000 x 6 mm. are used in a variety of applications, from floor, wall and ceiling coverings to countertops and ventilated facades. They offer a combination of lightness, strength and infinite versatility.

High technology applied to natural stone
Honeycomb System
Panels with an aluminum honeycomb core are covered on both sides with 500 g/m² fiberglass impregnated with epoxy resin. This allows the creation of cladding materials with optimal characteristics for the lightweighting of materials such as marble and granite, as well as glass, ceramics, engineered stone, and mosaics.

Major investments in research and machinery enable Spanish Marble Group to offer all kinds of solutions to architects and designers, not only in terms of materials, but also through its processes and manufacturing techniques.
The combination of natural stone with honeycomb panels is used in the production of lightweight composite panels. These panels retain the aesthetic and durability qualities of natural stone, while being lighter and therefore easier to handle and install.
This can be especially beneficial in applications where the appearance of natural stone is desired, but a reduction in the overall weight of the material is required, such as in building façades, furniture, or cladding panels.
Honeycomb panel technology involves the incorporation of an aluminum core inside the panel, placed between one or two layers of material, which can be stone, wood, metal, plastic, or any other rigid material.
This creates a composite panel that combines structural strength and rigidity with reduced weight. The hexagonal structure of the panel resembles a beehive, hence the term “Honeycomb”.
